My new roommate! BB-8 got me the first time I saw him in the The force awakens trailer. I decidet to make a toy version and found no patterns that were what I was looking for. Therefore I started to figure out how to crochet a BB-8 on my own. The head was the easiest part of it but the ball with the cirlces on it really took some time to find a solution. Before you ask: Yes I will make a tutorial!!! When you know how to do it, it isn’t as hard as you might expect.
What I love about BB-8 is his unique way of moving. At first I was 100% sure that he had to be animated and for sure not to be real. When I heard he was a real droid I could not believe it. Check it out:
